William D Bone

William Drummond Bone RWS ARSA 1907-1979

Scottish artist born in Ayr he studied at the Glasgow School of Art, he was a painter in Oils and Watercolours and his early interest in art was encouraged by his Uncle Sir Muirhead Bone.

His works were exhibited regularly at many prestigious galleries such as The Royal Scottish Academy and the Glasgow Institute.
