William Miller Frazer 1864-1961 PSSA 1908, RSA 1909, RSA 1924, President of the Scottish arts club 1926-1927
Born Scone Perthshire he studied at the RSA schools winning the Keith Prize Painted English and Scottish Landscapes in a broad impressionist style and also worked in Venice. He lived for some time in St Ives and painted river scenes both there and in Norfolk. He first exhibited in the RSA in 1884 and achieved a record by exhibiting for 73 consecutive years. Associated with the early Linton School and prominent member of the Scottish arts club.
