Duncan Cameron – Scottish fl 1863-1907
Painter of extensive landscapes mainly concerned with peasant life and farming, in both oils and watercolors, He exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy and elsewhere in Scotland, In 1876 he was awarded the Gold Medal at Crystal Palace for showing the best landscape. His work is always characterised by a somewhat earthy palette.
