Fred Hines
Frederick Hines . Frederick (Fred) Hines was an English painter of landscapes and rural scenes, who lived in London and Essex. Flourished 1875-1920. A painter of countryside scenes in both oils and watercolour, often portraying them in a romantic and sensitive style. Particularly well know for his watercolour paintings of forests and pastoral scenes. Often including historical figures, animals, and sparse rural architecture, Hines’ paintings are intricate and tranquil.
Hines gained membership in the Royal Academy, where he exhibited frequently throughout his life.
