James Riddel

Riddel studied at the Glasgow School of Art, and later in Edinburgh.

Painter of landscapes, portraits, genre and illustrator. Head of Art Department at Heriot Watt College for 20 years. For many years Treasurer of RSW. Ridels works were exhibited at the Royal Academy; Royal Scottish Academy; Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolours; Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts; Liverpool
