Thomas Bromley Blacklock

Thomas Bromley Blacklock 1863-1903

Blacklock was a Scottish artist born in Kirkcudbright he trained in Edinburgh. Blacklock painted mostly on oils but also did pen and ink illustrations. His earlier painting were predominantly of landscapes however in his latter years Blacklock started to introduce children and fairies into his paintings.

Works by Blacklock were exhibited widely in galleries such as R.A R.S.A G.I
