Vincent Balfour-Browne

Vincent Robert Stewart Ramsey Balfour-Browne 1880-1963

Scottish sporting and wildlife painter. Studied at Magdalen College, Oxford. Lived at Dalskairth House, Troqueer, Dumfries. Pupil and friend of the artist and naturalist George Lodge. Exhibitions of his work were held annually during his lifetime in London, often shared with the English wildlife artist Barrington-Browne.
