W.S. Myles (William Scott Myles, circa 1850-1911),
William Scott Myles exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy 1886-89. Painter of landscapes, rural scenes, portraits and still life of fish. Myles was born in Forfar he lived and worked in Broughty Ferry, before moving to Arbroath. He was a friend of the artist James Watterston Herald.
