William Wright CAMPBELL Scottish 1913-1992
Painter in oil landscape, still life and portraits. Exhibited regularly at The Royal Scottish Academy and The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts. Campbell was the only painter thought worthy enough by George Houston, of being taken on as his protégé. Campbell also regularly worked with Charles Oppenheimer. The influence of both Houston and Oppenheimer is evident in Campbell’s work
